QDR-1000plus produces  precise lumbar spine, hip, forearm examinations, and high patient throughput, high resolution images, and low patient dose.

QDR1000plus uses a  patented Automatic Internal Reference System that assures accurate results at the push of a button.

The unit fits in an 8 ft. x 8 ft. (2.5m x 2.5m) room and requires no special shielding. The system uses a swing-away arm so scanning table can be used as a treatment table or exam chair for routine patient examinations.

Evaluations:

Report Samples: sample1, sample2, sample3, sample4, sample5, sample6, sample7, sample8, sample9

Features:
Scan Speed

The QDR-1000plus performs hip and spine scans in 2-3 minutes.
Patient exposure less one-tenth of a conventional chest X-ray.
Reliability
The QDR-1000plus contains a rotating calibration wheel that assures long-term precision values and direct compatibility between all QDR systems.
Upgradability
Data compatibility among all QDR models makes upgrades easy.
Convenience
Each QDR unit comes with an anthropomorphic spine phantom that can be used to perform quality control procedures.
Precision
QDR's precision outperforms competitors by 200-300% in subjects with low bone densit, in ALL published comparisons to date.

Message from the MEC/OBD president:

"As president, I have committed my company to providing medical facilities with "state-of-the-art" bone densitometry equipment to help them do a better job with preventing, testing for, screening for, detecting, diagnosing, and treating Osteoporosis which ravage so many women and men. Our diagnostic equipment will speed up the prevention, detection, diagnosis, and treatment of Osteoporosis and osteoporotic bone disorders in men and women. The key to preventing Osteoporosis in women and men is early detection, diagnosis, and treatment. This means measuring, testing, screening, detecting, and diagnosing low bone mass in women and men early in their lifetimes so that effective treatment can stop the Osteoporosis dead in its tracks." Together, we can help protect families from this terrible disease.

Sincerely,
Mark Piening
